Bio
Independent singer-songwriter. I played the LA area acoustic guitar scene(coffee houses, pizza parlors, restaurants and open mics) from the late 80s through the 1990s. In 2001, I moved to the Portland, OR area, doing what I enjoy most - playing my OM style acoustic guitar, writing songs and recording my music. My main interest is to get my music out to the public via today’s electronic media. Hopefully too, a known artist will like my material enough to want to use it. "One Lonely Sparrow" and "Ode to Sandra James" are 2008 and 2009 songwriting award winning songs. "Elementary Teacher" recently selected for "Songs of Americana" CD project. Influenced by John Denver, John Michael Talbot, John Lennon, Etta Baker and Elizabeth Cotten.
