"Musically Trapped n Thought"

Okay okay so he won me over with his rapid flow... - Joe Flowers

"Ronve: Leading the 2nd Wave"

Months after Billy Danze of M.O.P. launched the Raps United Nation mixtape series, he and the R.U.N. Team are ready to do it again. Raps United Nation: 2nd Wave dropped on 5/15/12 and is already performing above expectation. The first leak from the mixtape was a release from Ronve entitled “Workin”. And Ronve has certainly been putting in work.

After running across an ad for the mixtape series while on allhiphop.com, Ronve decided to submit a track. “I visit that website religiously,” he explains. “This is a dream come true. I grew up listening to M.O.P.” He describes how he felt when he first heard that his song had been chosen. “I can’t even describe it honestly. It’s what I always wanted in terms of exposure.” Ronve describes his sound as eclectic and promises that “Workin” is just one dimension of his artistry. “People feel like hip hop is dead. They want real music back. And, I don’t bullshit with the music.”

With such a major nod from one of his childhood idols, Ronve looks at the future with excitement. “I just want a chance to be heard.” And what exactly can we expect to hear from the Atlanta native? “An elevated brand of music. At the core, I’m lyrical. But the beats always gotta be crazy. I just want listeners to be prepared and open to that.” As he prepares to introduce his sound to the world, he wraps it up in two words. “I’m thankful.” And sooner than soon, the rest of the world will be thankful, too.

Bio

Ronvé is an American rapper, producer and actor, born in Queens, New York, where he lived until he was four years old. It was then when he and his family eventually moved to Marietta, GA where he was raised. He released his debut solo album entitled, He Speaks So Well in the fall of 2011. The album was released as a "warm-up" project - inspired around the idea of creating a new "archetype" for hip-hop lovers.

He Speaks So Well created a tremendous buzz throughout the industry, including a spot on Billy Danze’s (from M.O.P.) newest mixtape series R.U.N (Rap’s United Nations) as well as DJ Green Lantern's Overtime Grind Mixtape Vol 2. Ronvé has also been featured in XXL Magazine as well as Allhiphop.com. He aspires to be an example of what one can be if good choices in life are made despite the odds.

Ronvé was introduced to hip-hop by his older brother at the age of ten. Heavily influenced and inspired, he began writing raps and songs with neighborhood friends. In an effort to capitalize on his creative talents (and meet girls), Ronvé auditioned and gained acceptance to Pebblebrook High School, a nationally recognized magnet school for the Performing Arts. At P.H.S. Ronvé studied voice, dance and drama while still developing his rhymes.

After graduating from Pebblebrook, Ronvé attended Wright State University in Dayton, OH on a full scholarship as a Musical Theatre and Acting major. At WSU Ronvé earned several featured roles in theatre productions. However, music consumed his life, which lead him to spend countless hours crafting beats, developing into a hip-hop artist and creating the foundation of his style.

In 2006, Ronvé earned his BFA in Theatre Arts from Wright State University and returned to Marietta to pursue a career as a rapper and producer. As a rapper, Ronvé co-founded the group The Undergrads, who released a mix-tape, two albums, and opened for acts such as Kelly Rowland, Bone Crusher, and Travis Porter. As a producer, Ronvé co-founded Varsity Squad Productions, and worked with notable figures such as 2-Chainz, D.J. Toomp, and D.J. Jelly.

Currently, Ronvé is the latest edition to We Build Hits/Sony RED Distribution and his current single “Classy” is full rotation. His “RONVE FOR PRESIDENT” campaign is in full swing and hopes to gain your confidence in that he is the right choice to lead the next generation of hip-hop artists!
