Rood Mood will close out the last Saturday of the month, April 28, with a Texas-Roadhouse Blues induced show that isn’t afraid to adventure to the wide open spaces of a Phish jam. The guitar attack of Steve Smith and Ben Barnes is a forced to be reckoned with as the sounds and style of SRV and Hendrix come to life when this Eucha quartet hit the stage. Backed by a solid rhythm section, the axe men pick up their six string starships and take the crowd on an emotional ride to another level, often playing the guitars behind their heads in sheer showmanship. Bio
The three original members of the band(Ben, Josh, and Todd) have been playing in various clubs and for special events, around the Grand Lake area in Ok, from 2003 to 2007. Ben and Josh of Eucha, OK started playing in high school and continued playing until the addition of a drummer, Todd Martin. Todd Martin of Grove, Oklahoma has been playing for years and is one of the finest drummers on Grand Lake. Rood Mood made another addition to the band in late 2005. Steve Smith, of Kansas, Ok joined the band and proved to be a needed catalyst, that has boosted us to the next level. Steve is a great blues guitarist and also an amazing songwriter.
