Root Glen was formed in central New Jersey in late 2009 by guitarist Ross Griswold and drummer Eric Blank. The band soon added singer David Moroney and, after several months with an early incarnation of the band, bassist Andres Gonzalez. Root Glen began performing its original music in early 2010 and at the same time put out a 3 song demo entitled 'Petrified Whale,' featuring some early recordings from the formative stage of the band. Currently the band is based out of New Brunswick and is in the process of recording a 6 song EP for pending release in the early fall.
