Rosalee Moore was born and raised in Jackson, Kentucky. She has four children.
When her daughter was very young, she had a life-threatening accident. On the way to the hospital in the ambulance, a special nurse cared for her, and later that night reported that she had made a miraculous recovery. Rosalee credits this to the fact that her parents prayed before going to bed at night. Within three days, her daughter was released from the hospital, and not long after that, Rosalee started serving the Lord. She knew before she prayed, what the Lord had called her to do. She wanted to sing and play the guitar in her church.
A very special friend in the church, Irene Johnson, showed her how to place the chords with the songs,and the rest God gave to her. Her dad played the guitar and sang in church also, with the talent God gave him.
Shortly after her dad passed away, Rosalee started writing songs for the Lord and has written approximately seventy gospel songs. She thanks God for using her and praises Him for all He has done for her.
Rosalee will be the guest singer on "The Best of GOSPELVISION Radio" broadcast June 27. The program is aired weekly at 4:00 on WJMD FM 104.7 in Hazard, Kentucky.

Rosalee Moore is a Southern Gospel Songwriter and Performer from the Bluegrass state of Kentucky. She was born May 3, 1954 to George Lee and Rosella Moore. She grew up in Jackson, Kentucky, where she was also born. She has two brothers, Ova who lives in Florida, and Richard (Ricky), who lives in Jackson, two sisters, Judy who lives in Jackson and Mary Jane who lives in Somerset, Kentucky. She also had two sisters, Margaret Helen and Dorothy Mae who went to be with the Lord at a very early age. Rosalee has one daughter, Sabrina, and three sons, Earl, Joseph, and Melvin. She also has two grandchildren, Roger Dustin and Josolyn Snow.
Rosalee was raised in a christian home. Her dad played lead guitar and sang in church. She grew up surrounded by music both at home and at church. Her dad wanted her to play guitar and sang for the Lord. A few years before her dad passed away, Rosalee was saved and given the gift of playing guitar and singing in church.
Her dad had a massive heart attack in February, 1984. Even the doctors didn't know if he was going to survive it. The people in Rosalee's home church were praying for him. Her dad got better and came home. A year later, he went to be with the Lord. God had spared her dad for another year. Her mom is still alive and is still serving the Lord.
Shortly after Rosalee's dad passed away, she began writing songs for the Lord. She has written over a hundred songs. She thanks God for each one of her songs. She says, "WE CAN DO NOTHING WITHOUT GOD BUT WITH HIM ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE".
