"ROSCO "Rockin' Tits EP""

If you are a fan of such bands as At the Drive-In, Minus the Bear, These Arms are Snakes or Rumble in Rhodos, then ROSCO is the perfect fit for you. These guys have really found a unique sound that blends smooth melodies with aggressive beats and energetic playing. Give them a listen, you won't be sorry. - Nathan Ramos/iTunes

Bio

ROSCO quickly achieved a cult-following in Middle-Norway due to their instant productivity, planning rugged and consistent rehearsals only hours after first meeting, as well as producing their first EP only weeks into their rehearsal schedule. Within less than one year of playing, ROSCO was handed incredible performance opportunities including a main-stage slot on ISAAK's "Nattrock" festival, a headlining slot on Samfundet's "Knaus" stage, and an appearance at Trøndertun's yearly music festival. On top of their local tour schedule being paved in front of them, ROSCO was offered thousands of dollars worth of studio time at Brygga Studio (in Trondheim, Norway) as a courtesy of Bjørnar Søreng and Trøndertun in January of 2008. As a result of this studio time and with much assistance from producers/engineers Stian Westerhus and Stein Jørgen Øien, ROSCO's second EP was produced. During their studies in 2007-2008, the members of ROSCO were treated as poster boys for Trøndertun Art School, who used their electronic press kit as an advertisement to draw in more applicants. In the summer of 2008, the members of ROSCO traveled to Seattle, Washington to begin their first International tour. Although the tour was intended to be spread throughout the West-Coast of the United States, several shows fell through due to transportation issues and a lack of communication between the band and promoters, so the tour was only played throughout Oregon and Washington. It was a three-week long tour, and introduced a temporary lead singer (an old friend of guitarist/vocalist Torbjørn Caspersen), Nathan Ramos. Since the tour, the members have temporarily parted ways, and gone into solitude to write music for an upcoming full-length release with ROSCO, scheduled for completion in February of 2009.
