RoseBud Blue frequently entertains for festivals, weddings, corporate events, parties and the like and the crowds are universally pleased, always having a blast!

Jenny and Angela, the founding members and leaders of RoseBud Blue, are brought together by the realization of a childhood dream of forming a band. Their members have performed at premiere festivals and venues throughout the West such as the Freight and Salvage, Pickin’ in the Pines, Wolf Mountain, as well as the IBMA World of Bluegrass in Nashville. Rounding out the vocal trio and blasting some hard core mandolin riffs is Matt Dudman, a renowned musician and singer. Josh “Banjo Boy” Tharp, lady killer and banjo picker extraordinaire brings in the hard driving licks that keep the crowd on their toes. This core group is always joined by some of the West Coast’s finest fiddlers such as Ed Neff and Paul Shelasky. Together the band creates a unique, driving sound, reminiscent of a mixture of the music of Rose Maddox and Joan Jett, yet a sound that their bluegrass predecessors would be proud of. RoseBud Blue, a band that was destined to be - Bluegrass music the way it was meant to be!

Together these five individuals create an experience that is unlike any other in music today. The shared love and zeal for the music is clearly passed to their audience, which keeps them coming back for more.
