"Review: "Settle for Silver""

The compact, Replacements-esque songs are more melody-driven than ever...The songs with the subtle shadings are most satisfying...crunching guitars and short, sharp choruses - Montreal Gazette

"Review: "Settle for Silver""

Settle for Silver is their most considered, best realized album so far...the band comes off like it just shot itself up with confidence, and by playing with different tempos and touch they've diluted somewhat the same same-iness that always seems to be an unwelcome by-product of this genre of song making - Hour Magazine (Montreal)

"Concert Blub"

Soulful, raunchy pop, like Husker Du meeting Motown - Eye (Toronto)

"Concert Blurb"

Great emotive raunch-pop - Montreal Mirror

"Review: Viewers Like You"

Bash and churn punk-pop and acoustic strummers which recall Tim-era Replacements, revealing a knack for clever wordplay and emotional insights - Chart Magazine

"Gig Review"

Sugar-coated-super-power-punk-pop - McGill Tribune (Montreal)

"Gig Review"

This band is chock-full of that great Canadian punk-pop sound - Stylus (Winnipeg)

Bio

Years of pop songcraft colliding with twangy tumult and distorted disorder. Punchy, melodic, dynamic, soulful, sometimes jarring, hook-based songs of love found, love lost and love misplaced. Influences? Anyone who has ever raised that esteemed banner on high: The Replacements kissing The Jayhawks whispering to Sebadoh and nuzzling The Drive-By Truckers. Showcased @ the 2013 Pop Montreal Festival.
