Bio

Rose Logue sings with a soul and depth that invites audiences into her magical world of love, mermaids, pain and heartache in her recently released CD, Fly. Rose's voice has been described as sounding like honey mixed with thorns, gritty around the edges but soft and delicate within the melodies. She has a fantastic range that goes from ethereal highs to "lost everything" lows.

Rose has sung the National Anthem at three NBA games in California. She sang in honor of Governor Schwarzenegger in San Francisco in 2007. Her love for the stage not only keeps her consistently performing in California, but has recently taken her across the USA and to Europe. In March of 2008, she performed in Detroit for the 5th annual "Just Let Me Breathe" benefit concert to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis, opening up for Sponge. Following several shows in the summer of 2007 in Paris, France, Rose returned to perform for two weeks with her five piece band in the spring of 2008. While in Paris she was interviewed and performed on the French TV show "Le Couloir de la Night". Rose returned to Paris in the winter of 2008 purely to sing for 3 months- her voice and stage presence created a new Parisian audience that she's determined to get back to soon. She's been featured in BUST Magazine and SPIN. Rose's vocals can also be heard on the musical score for Beyond Pictures' independent film Bye, Bye Navina.

At a young age Rose began writing songs and singing with her musician father and performing alongside her belly-dancing mother. She was raised in Northern California in an eccentric, artistic community which allowed her to focus on creativity. The alternative school she attended encouraged children to sing, dance and learn through art. This philosophy shaped the rest of Rose's life and continues to run through her veins.
