Lyrics

Signal

Written By: Rosenguard

A sea of frozen stars
A memory rises drifting

And it begins

I raise my eyes up to the dawn but I am blind
Frayed strands of logic coursing through my shattered mind

I sent a signal to the city of forgotten memory
I sent a signal to the ocean skies of blue
I sent a signal to the city of forgotten memory
Die and remember our walks along the avenue

Prismatic angles drifting sadly through the night
Intrinsic radiance denied
So fall the sentinels that ever long have stood
Farewell necropolis, my sanctuary

Articulation of the soul, a desperate trial
To recreate the simple mysteries of a child
Trying so hard to grasp the truth between the lies
Gazing aloft into the dark of starless skies

I sent a signal to the city of forgotten memory
I sent a signal to the ocean skies of blue
I sent a signal to the city of forgotten memory
Die and remember our walks along the avenue

Requiem for the Innocent

Written By: Rosenguard

There on the edge of forever
Stands a small and simple man
Gazing upon one final endeavor
Down a path with an uncertain end

Alone he crawls among twisting shadows
Eternal prelude of what's to come
David against a thousand Goliaths
Carmilla's mask stripped bare and undone

But now his gaze meets God's
With fear and wonder their souls align
No understanding, of hope no sign
Shame and regret in eyes divine

Darkness as furies sweep across the land
Approaching doom never seemed so close at hand
No hope for the righteous few as Faust rules
Just ash and dust, In place of God a king of fools

Solitude eternal
Fading life in vain has been spent
Proud souls burning free in this requiem for the innocent

Solitude eternal
Fading life in vain has been spent
For the last lament this is the requiem for the innocent

Now westward he must sail
But ever east his heart returns

Bleed the Sky

Written By: Rosenguard

Fate denied
A wonderful moment for wasting away
Faith deprived for one more day

Throne of ice
The flesh on the surface is rotting away
Hate implied for one more day

Bleed the sky
A tranquil display of ambition and pain
Breath supplied for one more day

One way to escape the night
One way to erase the light
One way to fragment the time
One way to plead for your life

I feel the rain is falling for one last day
I hear the heavens calling to take me away
I fear I've not done enough
Waking and breaking at night
Existing for denial
I fear I've not done enough

Now the saints crucify
Just to taste from the sky
You're bleeding out again

So you've given your sight
Just to live through the night
You're coming down again

No, it doesn't seem real
All the pain that you feel
Becoming scarred again

Bleed the sky

One way to escape the night
One way to erase the light
One way to fragment the time
One way to plead for your life
