"Crossover Kidz – Picture Perfect"

Now you already know, im not gonna post anything i wouldnt listen to myself. I can tell you without a doubt this group embodies every aspect of their name. The music is hip hop with everything you love about pop. Most importantly it has heart. This Project has been a long time coming, and it has lived up to the anticipation. Just like food, anything you put in your body has to be good for you, same goes for what enters your ears. You can tell this album was well thought out, go to track 1 , press play and sit back. I was listening to this project this morning like i do before any music i post and im really excited to bring this one to the masses. Listen to my favorites after the jump and let me know what you think - Conflict Rhymes

"All About Droobee [Kick It] – Crossover Kidz"

Here we have a fun new jam from Boston’s Crossover Kidz (made of MuZ the emcee & Droobee the beatmaker), found here exclusively from yours truly! Their last mixtape Picture Perfect was quite underrated, but the kidz promise this next project their working on (slated for Fall release) will be grand. In honor of Droobee’s day o’ birth, here’s “All About Droobee” [Kick It], which has a head-bobbing beat and some nice solo guitar instrumentals. "Crossover Kidz – Dark Hearted ft. Jordan Brown"

Exclusive Interview

Tell us about where you are from and how you got to this position today.
[Droobee] I’m from Dallas, Texas and I came to college in Boston and met rapper, MuZ. He liked my beats and I liked his lyrics. We got to work.
[MuZ] What he said, except I’m from Kansas, KC and moved to Florida, where my parents are currently living and finally to Boston where I met Droobee.

What are you currently working on and what can we expect to see?
We are currently pushing our mixtape, “Picture Perfect”, and we are planning to release three more projects before the end of this year (an EP from MuZ, EP from Droobee another Crossover Kidz EP)

Tell us about one of the hardest challenges you had to face in the industry?
Getting into the industry.

What was one of the biggest set backs in your career and how did you bounce back?
We just started less than a year ago. We really haven’t had any set backs, just experiences to learn from.

What are some things artists need to be careful of?
Zombies, spaceships and crappy record deals.

What suggestions do you have for other artists like yourself?
First, get out the box! Seems like everything is the same. Second, you’re music represents who you are as an artist and as a person, make sure that they line up. You never want to portray yourself as something you aren’t.

What are the best ways to sell your products as an artist?
We are still trying to figure that out ourselves. With the industry in a state transition, a bunch of distributors and record labels are trying to figure that out right now.

What is one of your favorite ways to promote yourself and your music?
Blogs and social networks. We like the rawness and unpredictability of honest opinions that are uncontrolled. We get honest feed back from these sites and can better create music the suites our fans and us as creative artists.

"Crossover Kidz- Realest Shit [I Never Wrote]"

Here’s a little treat from the Crossover Kidz in honor of MuZ’s birthday. Not going to lie, this track is nice and I am really excited to see what these guys bring to the table this year. Be on the lookout for some more music from Crossover Kidz coming your way soon! For now, listen and download “Realest Shit (I Never Wrote)” below. - Tha Good Life Reviews

"Crossover Kidz - Distant x Won't Cry For You"

These two tracks were easily the best off of the Crossover Kidz latest mixtape Picture Perfect which dropped recently. These tracks include features from Sonny Shotz of The Dean's List and the amazing voice of Sid Siram. This is the first time I have download tracks by the Crossover Kidz, normally I'm not a huge fan but these tracks are a definite exception. - Addicted to the Music

"Crossover Kiz | Hiphop post"

Crossover Kidz brings a unique style mixed with some great features, such as Sonny from the Dean’s List and Sid Sriram. Their newest project is called, Picture Perfect, support their music find them via social networks. Here are two songs that I really enjoyed, hopefully you will feel the same. - Kinetic Muzik

"HIdden Gem: Crossover Kidz *catchy Hip-Pop duo"

Crossover Kidz is a musical duo based out of Boston and currently attend the Berklee College of Music. Music producer Droobee was in search of a rapper he could make music with and eventually was referred to MuZ. Within of meeting, they were producing and recording tracks right out of their dorm room closet.

Shout out to Arthur Johnson for telling me about Crossover Kidz months ago. At first I wasn’t that much a fan but then Crossover Kidz started a “MuZic Mondays!” series in late December and I have noticed steady improvement on the quality of their music. - Before The Bigs

"Picture Perfect – Crossover Kidz"

Released in early April, Picture Perfect by Crossover Kidz is a 16 track mixtape, the group’s first full tape, featuring tons of amazing tracks, samples, guest artists, and instrumentals. Three features off the track, displayed below, highlight collaborations with Sonny Shotz of The Dean’s List, Jordan Brown, and Sid Sriram. I love the melodies, the subtle synths in the instrumentals, and the driving beats throughout all three tracks. - The Kollection

"Crossover Kidz feat. Sonny Shotz, Jordan Brown, Sid Sriram – Picture Perfect"

Sid Sriram hit me up the other day to show me his feature on this project, Picture Perfect, and I was pleasantly surprised to see Sonny Shotz (of The Dean’s List) [SPONSORED ARTIST], as well as Jordan Brown (he has been featured on many of The Dean’s List’s songs) on the tracklist. The Crossover Kidz, just like the other artists mentioned above have either attended Berklee College of Music (in Boston) or are current students there. I’m not a fan of too much of the mixtape, but I enjoy the songs below. The Crossover Kidz made some dope beats and were respected enough to get some dope features for the three songs below - goodmusicallday

Bio

Formerly known as MuZ & Droobee from the Crossover Kidz, Matt Rosewood and Drew B. are a passionate and relentless music making duo. Meeting for the first time during their freshman year of college, they've grown exponentially from their first dorm room closet recordings and humble beginnings. The momentum of a successful debut show, filling the venue to capacity, propelled them forward. Rosewood and Drew B. have since put many accomplishments under their belts as independent artists. And having toured and conquered the local college market, the duo is attempting to break the mold, giving their look and sound a more mature and edgy feel.

With the theme of their most recent full length original collection, "Grow Up, Kidz" fresh in their minds, Rosewood & Drew B. present the world with Crowns&Pillars: The branding of their new look, sound and stance. The Crown symbolizing their feel as classic, royal, and time tested; the Pillar represents strong support and construction, while the Atom in the center represents the explosive quality of creation they share.
