"Unplugged, Unpretentious & Solid! Lead Vocals is superior to (Robert) Plant, as he squeals, while (Rosh’s) vocal sings. More like early Clapton as he developed a signature vocal style." -San Gregorio, California February 8th, 2007

Biography

Guitarist and composer, Acoustic Rosh has been an integral, innovative and well loved part of the Americana/Roots/Folk Music scene in Boulder, Colorado USA. Learning to play the guitar at the age of ten, Rosh grew up listening to the music of his older brothers. Jethro Tull, The Kinks Etc. He soon fell into the organic sounds of the acoustic steel string guitar and learned to sing, to play the piano and harmonica.

An international touring musician, Rosh's leadership and commitment to creating more emotionally affluent settings for acoustic music has brought him into the living rooms of fans in communities all over the world.

He has done this by offering communities the opportunity to host private Acoustic Rosh House Concert performances in their homes. House concerts are a wonderful grassroots phenomenon where world-class musicians and developing local talent alike perform in the comfortable intimacy of private homes and similar nontraditional spaces. They're fun to attend, fun to present, and fun to play. You can have perfect sound, a great party, and world-class music right in your own home or the home of a neighbor. There's no experience quite like it for the listener or presenter. House Concerts are for quiet listening audiences, folks who appreciate live acoustic music and want an intimate experience with the performer. Rosh has been pioneering House Concerts across Iceland, Western Europe and USA since 2004.

Rosh also heads up the well-loved Boulder Colorado band ' Down With Naked' where you can catch Rosh's songwriting at some it's best with the ochestration of three part harmonies, a perfectly balanced array of singer/song writer music with a tight rhythm section that explores complex poly-rhythms and straight forward funkin hard grooves.

Rosh's Acoustic Solo Music is blossoming with an awesome blend of Original Progressive Folk Rock, 'Bob Dylan' like Harmonica and Deep poetic lyrics. His musical roots reach back to primary sources of American Singer Songwriting/folk/rock musicians such Bob Dylan, Jerry Garcia, The Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Kreg Veisselman, Jeremy Carter and many others.

"The moods, melodies and rhythms of Rosh's songs have simple and powerful story. Anyone with the opportunity to hear his music has truly been blessed with an understanding of life that will inspire their hearts."

Travel Ditty Guitar

Written By: Rosh

Travel Ditty Guitar sonic blisters in my ears
Put one foot in front of the other
In your cats pajamas, soaked with tears
Nobody listens as old men cry cause they can’t go back
And share the wisdom young people lack

Travel Ditty a far sonic blisters in the air
Put one foot in front of the other
I’m chasing my dreams and running from fear
Up on the mountain hear old Tom’s cry
But if you go there the story goes
You may not come back alive

Travel Ditty Guitar sonic blisters in my ears
Put one foot in front of the other
I’m running from dreams and chasing my fears
Up on the mountain hear old men cry
Cause they can’t go back
And share the wisdom young people lack
Yeah Yeah Yeah...

One Eye-Glass Broken

Written By: Rosh

She can change the way you feel
She reads books with one glass broken
She’s got dinosaurs that will run you
Right out of town frown, frown.

Standing on the edge of her dream again
Looking at a portrait and you don’t know when she’s gonna fly, she’s gonna die, who knows

You may dream of tattoos
That come alive like cartoons
And I can tell you
That fish don’t bite you out of the can
They won’t bite your hand

Standing on the edge of her dream again
Looking at a portrait and you don’t know when she’s gonna fly, she’s gonna die, who knows

She can change the way I feel
She drinks milk with one eye glass broken
She takes fresh new chalk and stretches it
Across the black board oh lord

Standing on the edge of her dream again
Looking at a portrait and you don’t know when
She’s taking off her blouse
And you can’t defend your side
I wake in the morning and find she stole my ride

Two Seasons

Written By: Rosh

Walk down to the ocean with my head in the sand
My soul in her hands
And the waves they roll away as my love fades in the rain

Shadows shine through my window covered by sunlight
These shadows dance in my eyes
Shapes they form and go
As my love is lost in the snow

When It's Hard To Live w/ Band (Live)

Written By: Rosh

Bitter thoughts in symphony
They cleanse my mind
Set me so free
Jesus is lost on a city street
He can't help you and he won't help me

You may dream of a different place
But where ever you are, your stuck insane, stuck insane, stuck insane

The sun will rise, morning toast
Step outside, take another dose
Of life will end in an akward way
All you can do is hope and pray
To stay a little longer

I feel love in the moments you give
I call my friends when it's hard to live
When it's hard to live
When it's hard to live......

Ooh Ahh......
