"One of the best debut albums of 2009."

(Original Language: French)Google translation:

What amazing debut album! At once dark and warm woods by its strings, a touch of magic runs through all the tracks affected by the grace of Rosie and her band. One of the best debut albums of 2009.
From time to time I say that without the web, I would never be able to meet my favorite artists or artists who are poised to become one. The charming Swedish Rosie Staf in part. I discovered her music last August and since then I am charmed by her, the spell exercised by her music is very powerful. For the present, Rosie Staf is a young artist who has studied singing and classical music. It is therefore not surprising that the young woman is endowed with sacred strengths: her magnificent voice - unique and very controlled - has this flaw that makes it key to the heart without forgetting the most important: she wrote, composed and produced her album The Little Orchestra, the record is pretty impressive for a first work. To form the music of Rosie, a small orchestra was composed of seven musicians who bring to life the unforgettable little ditties, little slices of life from the comments of Rosie. The music of Rosie Staf and his orchestra is reminiscent of a result of chamber music fragile and intimate. Listening to the album, I really feel that the musicians play in the same room as me without a net, no frills, so the result is pure and simple, elegant and sophisticated. It's cerebral music that appeals to the emotions of an intelligent, this album far from cold, warms the heart.

The instrumental mentality opens the album in a soothing and hypnotic way. Magnificent. Sentimental is the first encounter with the sublime voice of Rosie Staf gives many chills. The majestic arrangements, the lyrics touching and beautiful precision, all wrapped by this heartbreaking voice makes this song a small masterpiece of minimalism. On a lighter note, offbeat, the very endearing Wintery March is equipped with great finesse and freshness.Fabulous.Festive but still delicious fun on My Garden. Small magical moment passed too quickly with the moving and sober Nightrider. One can under two minutes of pure bliss folk. Lovewheel begins in a rather dark atmosphere to take off with a chorus that takes the guts, a bit intense and beautifully wrapped.A highlight not to be missed. It feels weightless on the little gem of poetry what the song The Moon. Electric simply. Start very sober and thoughtful of Expectations that ends on a warm somewhat bohemian. The end of the album ends on the serious and poignant Strangely Positive. It catches its breath before such beauty and it gives the album loop.

"Live in Paris - festival"

Bio

I write songs about things that capture me. Sometimes I also write songs about myself, but not always. It's still personal, though. As thoughts tend to be.
