Ross Balboa

Born in Jersey City, but raised in Maplewood, New Jersey, Ross “Balboa” Johnson has been making waves on the New Jersey rap scene. Balboa was completely drawn into rap music when he was 12 years old. He began feeling that hunger to make great music and to perform at a high level. Balboa states, “Outside Gold Inside God .”

Balboa has joined forces with DJ M Pure and The Arsenals, and has had the opportunity to perform at the Rutgers University Music Fest in New Brunswick. He’s also performed in Club Allstars, Endzone, Key Club, WildBull , The Tea Bar and a host of other venues . He’s dropped several singles titled, “Thor”, “WOP”,” Dive Head First”, and a few others, along with the videos for “Thor”, “Lane Change”, and “Gucci Gucci”. In addition, Balboa has previously released the mixtape, Chiefs, and he is currently working on his latest project, Man on Fire.
