The Ross Clayton Band & Hell's Half Acre is a newly formed Chicago based country rock, cover pop/rock band that deliver a high energy packed performance in every show! Through their years of playing actively in the local music scene they have acquired a very talented line up of amazing veteran musicians.
Their sound is a mixture of both current and older country rock covers ranging from everything in between, "The Ross Clayton Band" plays a lustrous compilation of material from both new and old , acoustic and electric, with their own stamp and style thrown into it. Covering the musicial styles of Keith Urban, Jason Aldean, The Zac Brown Band, Randy Hauser, Eric Church, and many more current country rock hit artists.
Their own original songs literally drip with personality. They have re-spirited melodies and vivid lyrics in which projects the way they look at the world around them. Their music showcases the diversity of their talent; from their catchy song-writing skills and soulful vocals of singer songwriter, Ross Clayton to the intense guitar playing of fellow guitar slinger, Thomas Yurik who also co-writes on their tunes, to the hard hitting grooves of drummer, Rich Hoblinski and Bass of Steve Smith.
