Ross has released three CDs independently. The first was RD - Solo Acoustic, which is just as it sounds. The second CD, Ross Durand Live, is a recording of a solo acoustic set at the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano, CA and highlights the vibe of Ross' live repore. The most recent release is "Coffe Shop and All-Nite Diner" which includes some songs with fuller arrangements, but the focus is still on the song content, which the arrangements augment. A recent song, "Talkin' Side Effects Blues" has received some attention on-line at SongPlanet.com.

After being classically trained as a child and playing loud in garages as a teenager, Ross Durand's musical life changed in '86 watching Dylan play "A Hard Rain's a Gonna Fall" to several thousand silent fans. The power of song became his focus. Since then he has concentrated on the solo acoustic idiom to instill thoughtfulness and evoke shared human experience.
