Rotating Taps

Rotating Taps is a four piece band from Bangor, ME consisting of members Jared Botting, Sam Chase, Mike Wellington and Yuri Trusty. Their material and influences range from dancey indie-pop to rough nasty rap music. Their sound is almost defined by its high energy. With a wide range of covers influencing their skills (Talking Heads, Fleet Foxes, Wu Tang, Coldplay, etc.) and years of experience writing songs and performing, Rotating Taps puts a smile on your face one way or another.
Rotating Taps is a relatively "new" band, playing their first show in February of this year, but all the members have been playing together for quite some time. Their former group was called "Sam and Yuri". Sam and Yuri was a wicked good band.
These dudes are basically a bunch of backwoods hicks who don't know no better than writing music. With their youth, talent, and good looks all fleeting, one can't think of a more opportune time to share their experiences with yours in this big old thing called life.
