Heralding from the very heart of the creative Northwest, the Seattle-based band is comprised of Daniel Volland on lead vocals, Greg Rodgers on guitar/vocals, Jordan Schenstead on drums/vocals, Sam Tyner on bass/vocals, and Danny Diaz on guitar/keys/vocals.
With a fresh and original sound, Rough People has managed to create an EP full of musical bravado and irresistible danceability. Upon first listen, it quickly becomes clear that Rough People is no carbon copy of any one band. A stylish melding of some of the world's most iconic performers, influences such as Michael Jackson, Hall and Oates, Motown and the Beach Boys come to mind as they weave in and out of each song and are complemented by a modern indie rock disposition.
The result is addictive, catchy, and undeniably fun rock/pop/R&B/soul music that destroys the era of the DJ.
