Roveen

Roveen was originally formed in the winter of 2005 by brothers Noah and Nolan Begley. Current Singer Chris Olive had moved to Arizona from Ohio and began rehearsing with the band. After a series of events Chris returned to Ohio leaving Roveen without a singer. The band went through over a dozen singers in the Arizona local scene and decided in the summer of 2006 that a change of scenery was needed. Noah and Nolan decided to move to Nashville and start the band from the ground up. While in Nashville Roveen began a search for a new singer and ran into someone with a familiar voice, Chris Olive. After writing several songs together via internet the guys decided to give the band another shot. Now residing in Phoenix, Arizona Roveen has begun to jump into the music scence with full force. Writing over 11 songs and playing over 20 shows within their first three months back together as a band. Combing elements of rock, alternative and soul music Roveen ranges anywhere from hard rock, to straight forward indie-soul. The band has quickly developed a fan base and has become known for the diverse set list and intense live show. Roveen has recorded a three song demo but will be releasing their EP entitled "They End Up Owning You" in January 2008.
