Bio

Rowdie Piper, native of Beaumont, Texas  relatively new to the Hiphop world & unlike any other artist from the area he brings a different vide, feel, & sound with his music. Stepping out of the old stereotypical candy paint gripping grain rhymes that seem to still  keep a strong hold other rappers in the area. Piper steps outside of that box by mixing rock, pop, alternative, soul & of course hiphop to form his on style that separates himself from the pack. He gets his influences from a wide range of artist from Notorious B.I.G. to Prince, John Mayer to Jay-z, Willie Nelson to The Beatles, Lady Gaga to Coldplay, Lupe Fiasco to Lady Antebellum."I listen to everything. I know you hear a lot of artist say that & it's kinda cliche but I really do. Country, pop, rap, hiphop, rock, 80's music 70's 60's It doesn't matter to me. This may sound a little corny but I believe music like love... It's blind ...if you like a person then you like That person no matter what race, shape, rich or poor, you like That person. That's how I feel about music. I like music... doesn't matter who made it or what genre  if it sounds good , I like it" says the Beaumont rapper. In spring 2011 will release his first mixtape titled "knowbody no's rowdie piper". He began rapping surprisingly a little over a year ago. Inspired by the noted artist above and few up & coming mc's such as J. Cole Wale, Drake, Big Sean & Wiz ect. he began to write his on songs. "I got tired of listening to the radio & hearing the same thing, money hoes & clothes. It's like an over kill. And I felt like I could do better than what I was hearing locally & nationally. I asked myself why not, I did it & this is the result. If people like it they like it, if not than that's cool too. Just know it's me, no gimmicks or facades. I'm not trying to follow any crowds  or to look cool...just me. What I feel, what I see, real music for real people. Something music ...mainly rap has been missing for a while".
