Bio
My music has many influences. Any struggling, female singer/songwriter is my hero and any musician who's 'made it' without compromising their passion is even higher in my estimations. Most notably i wold say The Beatles and The Rolling Stones ofcourse. They are true musical gods. Also, the lyrical, folky styles of Ray Lamontagne, Van Morrion and Terry Reid inspire me no end. ingers like Lucy Shwartz, Feist, Bonnie Rait, Carole King, Joni Mitchell also encourage me to love and pursue my greatest pleasure, MUSIC.
My songs mostly just POP into my head then I scribble them down, or a chord progression comes to me on guitar or piano, while the lyrics take time.
I grew up with an opera directing father and hip=hop dance co-ordinating mother, so i guess you could say that musical culture is in my blood. It definitely feels that way. When i hear a good song, or write something thats meanigful to me, it feels like it's very essence is embedded in my soul, like its what i breathe, what i am.
All i've ever wanted or will ever want is Music. But what sets me apart? I know i may sound like your typical 'passion filled' aspiring artist, but to me, i'm pretty special and to me, i've been set apart from birth.
