Discography

Roxxie Vine is an all originals band with a single release entitled, "Little Angel," which is available from www.myspace.com/roxxievine. A second commercial release of Little Angel is scheduled for this spring by Versailles Records, and will provide publicity to promote this tour, and a four song album release prior to the "Search for Roxxie Tour" that will trek across the Midwest from May 1 to July 31, and judge lady contestants at each location for a chance to become a runner-up in the contest on the online, where fans will choose the winner. The grand prize winner will receive a photo shoot with the band for their next album cover, and be the Roxxie image in one rock video. What would you do to be Roxxie? For more details, check out our myspace.

The band will also appear at many radio and media spots along the tour route to increase exposure on the band's shows and the Roxxie image contest. All announcements and display spaces are still available for local sponsors to receive exposure. Extra video footage from tour venues not used in the rock video will be available on the band's DVD, and sold from the band's website.

Bio

Roxxie Vine is a mixture of well established rock musicians from bands like Crimzon Roze, RaFoxe, Image, Ghost Dance Tribe, and Vougart, who have covered venues and arenas from the East Coast to the West Coast, and have shared stages with members of Sixx AM, Britney Fox, Cinderella, and Beautiful Creatures. While on different tours several years ago in different bands, SEWK and Groove crossed paths at the Key Club on the L.A. strip, and discussed many aspects of the music scene, and decided to start a side project in the Midwest to free themselves from the stale ideas circulating at the time. Returning to ideas deep rooted in influences like; Sweet, Mott The Hoople, New York Dolls, Guns-n-Roses, Love/Hate, London, Nine Inch Nails, Prodigy, Ministry, Pig, korn, and many others, the project began to take on a new sound, and finding the right musicians to produce it was difficult. For two years, these originators ripped through musicians that failed to fill the void, until settling on the current chemistry. In 2009, the project blossomed into the band Roxxie Vine with the release of Little Angel in February.

Crowds are drawn from the outside by the strong bottom end thumping from solid bass and hard drum grooves, and embraced by the industrial sounds of this band's angry guitars, and soul drenching lyrics. Fans are held by perfectly timed stage antics and animations that connect and move listeners. The older crowds enjoy the glam rock feel of the 80s, while the younger fans love the band's full glam goth dress, makeup, and edgier sound.

With fifteen originals, and hundreds of covers, Roxxie Vine is sure to provide hours of entertainment for even the pickiest listeners. This band practices a minimum of 20 hour a week, and has the stage experience in years of many headliner bands. While Roxxie Vine prefers to sell the door with a local crowd puller, they have the ability to hold crowds with cover songs late into the night (or morning).
