Although born a bit premature (1lb, 3 oz.), there’s nothing small about the singer/songwriter Roxy Nichole Travis. This Tallulah, Louisiana native discovered that she could sing at age seven and has been thrilling audiences ever since. Her matured vocal ability is known to have that Beyonce/aaliyah flava that layers well over some of your best headbangaboogie. Roxy’s lyrics and beats are very addictive, and is sure to keep you coming back for more. On her new EP, Barely Legal she again explores the ups and downs of relationships, like in such songs as “I Cry No More”. She also steps it up a notch with the Club Banga "Bounce to This" reassuring her sistahs that they have a hell of lot more ounce to the Bounce than the bro's. Her EP is set to hit the streets this summer and is a nice follow up from her Debute album Superfly that opened a lot of eyes to another great talent the Dirty South has to offer. This girl is the truth! No matter what they say, this Superfly chick is here to stay!
