Royal City Riot

Royal City Riot

Royal City Riot tries to redefine your definition of reggae. While keeping true to the roots of the Jamaican music and combining it with influences of American Soul and R&B, Royal City Riot's sound is original yet authentic. Our "Good-time party music" will have you on your feet dancing in no time.

Despite only being together for about 3 years, Royal City Riot has enjoyed support from a loyal fan base, and also shared the stage with such national acts as The Aggrolites, The Slackers, The Toasters, The Pietasters, Big D and the Kids Table, Mustard Plug, Westbound Train, and Satori. We have also been a part of the Ska Weekend Festival '07 and '08 in Knoxville, TN.
The music is a blend of reggae, Jamaican ska, and American Soul. A great combination to get the dance floor moving.
Royal City Riot has just released their second album, "Coast To Coast", on Megalith Records, and plan to depart for their 3rd US tour this January.
