Bio
Based in Brooklyn, NY, the group is made up of two sets of longtime friends. Kyle Brown (guitarist) and Edward Burroughs (vocals) ventured up to Brooklyn after the demise of their Charleston, SC band Forest Tourist and hooked up with Max Currier (formerly of Shake the Baron) from working at bars around the neighborhood. After playing steadily in New York City for over a year and a couple of lineup changes, Ben Jones (of Constant Smiles) finally came into the fold and allowed Royal Garde to develop its sound, character, and charisma.
Royal Garde's debut single, "Turn Around" is a summation of Royal Garde's sound; dark, dramatic, & pop-conscious.
