The DC native gospel hip-hop artist Royalty aka Mr129 began rapping in 2007 when the men’s pastor of his church unexpectedly asked him to be a guest rapper on Michael White’s hit single “Conqueror” after hearing one of his spoken word poems. Since that collaboration, Royalty aka Mr129 has performed at venues, churches, and events throughout the country. His highly-anticipated debut album “Reaching for the Gift” available on iTunes and Amazon was released on April 17, 2011 and features guest appearances from some of hip-hop & gospel’s hottest artists to include Viktory, Prayz1, Braille, Tony Stone, KamB.I.N.O., Dillon Chase, Tre Thomas, Matthew Shell and many others! His music featured has been featured on Rapzilla, DaSouth, Fusemix, HandsUpOnline and other nationally recognized websites, blogs and radio stations.
