ROY HURD is a dynamic performer and a world class singer songwriter. In the years he has been performing Roy has played his brand of mountain music for enthusiastic audiences nationally, and has developed a following unparalleled in the Adirondack Mountains. Roy's song Adirondack Blue has become a modern-day Adirondack anthem, and his recordings are regional best sellers. Roy's newest CD's, Adirondack Rain, and Chronicles From The Love Shack, shine bright with Roy's soul and craft.

Roy has two Arts in Education programs he has developed for Elementary schools. His "Walk on the Mountain" storytelling, music, woodland skills program has delighted children and presented them with the concept of earth morals for the past 20 years. His "Rhyme Without Reason" songwriting program has given young people a first hand experience in the songwriting process.

"Roy Hurd is the best known singer and songwriter in the Adirondacks. His appeal lies as much in his storytelling as it does his smooth vocal delivery and clear guitar work. The force of his belief is in the gentleness of his delivery".
Adirondack Life Magazine

"He's the Adirondacks' favorite singer songwriter. His dynamic style is addicting, and the energy he shares powerful".
Friends of Folk Music/Java Jive Coffeehouse

"Engaging, Exciting, Entertaining, Extraordinary... just a few words I use to describe a performance by singer songwriter, Roy Hurd".

"Like all good things up here in the North Country, Roy's music is a winning mix of beauty and good-times. He makes everyone around him proud to be part of the musical and cultural traditions of the Adirondacks. He'll forever be one of the good
folk that Caffe Lena is most honored to call it's own".
Sarah Craig, Manager, Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs NY

"You can feel the journey through Roy's music and lyrics. That's a rare gift. He is someone with a true identity, and one of my favorite songwriters".
