Missouri native Roz shapes her rock-n-roll in the artful form of blues rock with B.B. King well in tow. She’s got a great voice that offers good range but it’s her ability with the six string that will get everyone in the club whispering in amazement. With a strong debut album firmly tucked underneath her arm, Roz will go on to amaze not only crowds but future A&R reps from blues rock labels across the country with her terrific songwriting and strong talents.

Roz – “Roz” - Strange and powerful! From the opening track, I could tell Roz had something incredibly unique happening. Though the mix needs some work between the music volume and her vocal dynamics, the 4 song release has an almost theatrical-strut style and a strong David Bowie flavor and sound if you can believe that :) Fresh and soulful with solid and interesting guitar work. I liked it.

Bio
Roz has been creating and presenting original music for over 15 years. The Missouri native immersed herself in Rock-n-Roll and her parents various Blues and Motown recordings as her family moved all over the continental U.S. Some of her largest influences are B.B./ Albert King, Jimi Hendrix, and Carlos Santana. “I love all sorts of music”, Roz states, “Since I grew up on Rock and Blues, but also studied Classical and Jazz in college, I have an appreciation for a wide variety of music… I don’t care what kind of music it is, as long as it’s good!”
Roz graduated with a B.A. in Music at the University of Denver. The artist went on to receive a Master’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from Long Island University. When asked why she combined a master’s degree in marketing with a bachelor’s in music, the artist reminds individuals that this is, “the music business, and you need to understand the relevance of business decisions as much as you consider the importance of creative decisions.
The artist has enjoyed a dramatic increase in hits on her web site and has realized the importance of the Internet and digital downloading by signing up with CD Baby.com. Roz has had her music downloaded off of MusicMatch, ITunes, and Rhapsody. “It’s a great way to distribute music,” the artist states. I can be in the U.S.A. and have someone in Australia download and enjoy one of my songs!”
At this point in her career, Roz is turning her sights to creating a band that will build on the increased interest in her music. “I also feel distribution is important, “the artist reveals,” I would like to work with an amazing management or record company that would partner with me to explore this niche market and make some amazing music!”
