Roz Patton

Roz Patton is president of Renaissance Creative Management, a gospel music artist management company, specializing in artist development, management and booking for major label and independent artists.

ROZ PATTON is an artist manager who still believes in the old fashioned method of doing business: have sincere passion for the artist, establish a partnership built on integrity and trust- and then work hard. When you sign to her artist roster you also get a lot of extras like words of encouragement during the inevitable tough times, and someone to accompany you on the road. And-don’t be surprised if she seals the deal with prayer. From what we understand, no one has complained yet. Is this any way to do business? Most definitely.

Roz is the founder and CEO of a refreshingly different artist management and booking company. Renaissance Creative Management, a Chicago-based gospel music artist management agency, was formed after her realization that her calling, passion, and gifts were to serve as a “ministry of helps” for the seriously talented artist with vision. Dedicated to fulfilling her divine purpose to serve God and the gospel music industry, Roz couples professionalism, experience and excellence with integrity in a way that balances both business and ministry. Using her grass roots knowledge and resources, she works hard to build a solid reputation as a company that is both effective and sensitive to the unique needs of gospel music.

With over ten years of expertise in gospel music artist development, management and booking, Roz is involved in the day-to-day planning for career advancement. She has worked extensively with major and independent record labels in the development, promoting and launching of new and established artists. From consultations, to the selection of formats for the best musical presentation, to guiding the creative process including imaging, song selection, producers, singers, musicians and engineers, to developing and executing distinctive and tailored radio, retail, new media and interactive marketing campaigns, to developing effective tour scheduling and exposure opportunities both domestic and international, she interfaces with key record industry personnel, radio, retail and print mediums to provide meaningful opportunities and forge long-lasting relationships.

Roz has worked with many local, national and international artists including Walter and Edwin Hawkins, Fortitude (Word Records), Desmond Pringle, (Tommy Boy Gospel), Leanne Faine (Bobby Jones Gospel and Marxan Records), Judy Peterson, (Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Class Reunion, Madea Goes To Jail and Lead Role Entertainment), Tyrone Block, (The Thompson Community Singers and Word Records), Gina Thurston, (Tyscott Records) and the Stockholm Sweden Gospel Mass Choir.
