Bio

In 1983 Rob formed his first band Steel Lily, a very popular band that played throughout Canada and the United States. Their repertoire ranged from heavy metal to classic rock.
In 1991 when Steel Lily disbanded, Rob moved to Calgary and joined up with former Riot (Elektra/Asylum Records) front man Rhett Forrester. They formed a band called Dr. Dirty and headed out to Los Angeles.
While in LA Rob’s interest in music grew further into the technical side regarding sound engineering and recording. Rob has mixed sound and worked for a number of popular recording acts such as Allanis Morrisette, April Wine, Saga, Tracy Bonham, Robby Krieger (The Doors) while still touring and doing gigs with rock icon Dave Mason (Traffic, Fleetwood Mac) and Lamya (Duran Duran-Soul to Soul)(Jive Records).
In 1997 he moved back to Canada and joined several different tribute bands doing, U2, Eagles, Ozzy Osbourne, Kiss and Foreigner, which opened the door to international dates as far as the Middle East as well as opening up for major recording acts like the Doobie Brothers.

2002 forming the group Fayt , Rob traveled and spent some time in Bermuda gigging, writing and recording.

Though his background is mostly of the rock nature Rob thanks his parents for surrounding him in many diverse types of music including soul-funk, folk and country. Listening to Motown was a favorite of his.
As well as Arlo Guthrie and John Denver. Too many influences really to list.

In 2009 Rob while still doing gigs around the US and Canada has recorded some solid material and is ready to show the world what he can do!
