RSM

It was on an April morning in 2007 when RSM first came together. When two elementary school friends, Rob Rossetto (bass) and Ryan Levesque (guitar) needed a band for the high school battle of the bands Rob knew a Drummer- Eric Lanthier- and Ryan knew a guitar player- Shawn Simon. They stood outside the office faced with one dilemma, they needed a name! As Shawn looked at a picture of a banana the Radical space monkeys were born.

They practiced... hard, but they just couldn’t cut it for school battle, when Winston Guitar, a friend of the band told them about an out of town battle of the bands series. They checked it out, THEIR FIRST REAL SHOW! They again didn’t win but it was a big step for RSM. Not satisfied with the way things were rolling Ryan soon left the band. Shawn quickly grabbed the opportunity to lead the band, and lead them he did. Over the next four months they grew as a band and as individuals. At the beginning of the new school year Allesandra Szczepaniak (vocals) a good friend of Shawn came into the band. Finally the missing link the band needed to explode into the music scene. With Solid vocals, screaming guitar solos, groovy bass licks and tight drum lines RSM began to gig like mad. Winning a battle of the bands and playing shows all over the area, they've showed garage bands can still get it done.

RSM is currently in the studio recording a demo, and they have made school battle of the bands with great ambitions.
