RSO

Rock & Soul Order is a band out of Detroit, Michigan, that pushes the boundaries of today’s music standards with its unique and eclectic rock/soul/r&b sound, and edgy flavor. All these elements are brought forth from the different energies that inhibit each member and their experiences. Influenced by artists such as the late, great Jimi Hendrix, Lenny Kravitz, Prince, and others that have set the path for the eccentric mix of rock and soul, RSO encompasses this spectrum of music in its entirety. From the unsung story of lost love in “Love Song,” to a love of epic proportions in “Rock With You,” there are no aspects of life that are untouched in the world of RSO.

Rock & Soul Order is made up of five musicians. Fronting the band is singer/songwriter/guitarist Michael Turner, drummer Smoke, keyboardist James Shelton, lead guitarist Lawrence, and bassist Beno. When combined, RSO creates a unique sound that fuses the heart, soul, and mind together; the music is simply a celebration of life and all that encompasses it: from love to hurt to everyday living to spirituality. The band’s mission is to make good music while touching the heart and soul of people.
