My name is Christopher Ondre Ledale Smith Session, also known as Rtiist. I am an American based artist, and son to single mother Terri Session. I was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on May 3rd 1991. I picked up poetry and rapping while attending public school on the southside of Minneapolis. Soon thereafter, I moved to North Hills, California where I continued my education and rap career. I lived in a humble home with my mother, step father, two younger siblings and other relatives before moving to Arizona. I am and have always been an artist. I love sharing what I love to do with the world, and that’s making music. When i am in the studio laying down a new track I keep my fans and listeners in mind. I can only hope that when people are vibing to my music, they become inspired to Win in all aspects of their lives. Each of my songs are like a piece of my puzzle and the more you listen to me as a person the more you'll be connected. I work hard and strive to show that with dedication and motivation, you can achieve anything and you will always Win. I firmly believe that if you keep going you will succeed because nothing is impossible.

As a kid, I was always writing poems. I’ve always felt as though i was naturally gifted with the skill of writing poetry. However, i wouldn’t say i really took it serious until High School. At that point i stepped up my game doing cyphers and rap battles with other people just trying to get better each day than i was the day before. For me, i felt that that goal to be more than obtainable. I am blessed with a natural flow, and my poetry comes to mind easily. I think rapid growth as an artist is a result of a compilation of those factors, as well as the constant support of my family and team. Despite all the trials and tribulations we’ve encountered along the way, they continue to be my backbone and a major key to my accomplishments. It's important to to keep people around you that make you feel like you're capable of anything and that's exactly what I have. They give me confidence and my audience can feel it each time I perform.

Growing up my mom was my best friend. I’d always questioned what i would do if i ever lost her. When it actually happened, that was a make or break moment for me. Ultimately i knew this tragedy would not break me when it came down to it, i had to deal with it and move forward. I know in my heart of hearts that my mom wouldn't want to see me crying and depressed everyday. It’s one of those things i use as strength. That strength drives me to be a better artist. I also have the most supportive team that provides me with limitless motivation. Since the beginning i feel like i have had the most solid team which makes for a solid foundation. With my solid team and the support of my loved ones i truly feel like anything is possible. It’s a great factor of success. They inspire me and often help with song ideas. That way i can relate to different perspectives. I’m learning new things about myself that i later incorporate in my music. Our motto is Winners First and we’re all really passionate about that. It’s important to keep positive people around you because the audience can then feel it in the music i release. With a winners mentality and positive vibes, there are endless possibilities. I see no sign of stopping for us anytime soon.

With my years of experience, limitless passion, and supportive team there’s no stopping me.  I have always been persistent with my art. I have a variety of sounds for every mood you're in . Starting from a young age writing poetry all the way till this day recording in the studio, i have always worked to be better. I love making music, it's the best way I know to express myself. I enjoy writing my own music because nobody knows how you see things and how you interpret the things that happen around you. I really enjoy sharing my point of view with folks. Some may look at life differently but the way I word things make it easy for the people to understand. Even if some of the audience can't relate they still vibe with my sound. When people listen to my music, i hope they can take away my messages and apply them to their lives. The most important of those messages being, to hold onto your motivation to win. The overall goal when it comes to my listeners and fans is to be happy and positive.
