Bio

Rubber Tramps formed on a cold night in January of 2008 when they took stage at 1982 in Gainesville, FL. This performance was the first time the four ever actually played together. Singer Dan Sutphin's former band had split ways right before the show, so he and soon-to-be Rubber Tramps' bassist Ben Thompson made some phone calls and convinced drummer Sam Einsohn and guitarist Ryan Murray to play the gig. The show was well received by the audience, so the quartet decided to press on. They spent the next few months writing songs and playing shows around town.

After seeing them perform, guitarist/keyboardist Avi (Toorge) Toorgeman asked to join the band. In the summer of 2008 , the newly-rendered quintet put together a studio and recorded they're first demo.

They recorded eight tracks for the demo, only to release five of the songs with the first single being a catchy, epic of a song called "Waves," and the second being a ballad-like song of heartache and loss called "Waltz for Mary."
