"...rawness and a basic sensitivity..."

"I like the offbeat sound of Rubin Dali Band. There's a rawness and a basic sensitivity, I especially liked "Tune Town".

- Michael David McGuire "NightTalker.com"

"TAXI Reviews Never Changes."

I liked Never Changes; it Sounds poetic and conjures up lots of possibilities. It has well-written structure that is good for the chant-based style. I felt the simplicity of the melody captured the Native American mystique nicely with good music in verses and choruses. My overall music rating for Never Changes is eight on a scale of ten. Best of Luck to you! - TAXI, Independent A&R Company.

Bio

ST, a proud member of the Cherokee Nation, was trained in classical piano and has played the keyboards since her youth. She is fluent at reading music as well as playing by ear. While known to pick up a guitar on occasion her heart at this time lies in the keys. A strong performer, on several songs ST will carry the beat while performing musical leads.
Bobby started playing the congas 1995 he plays by ear and can make no sense out of all those squiggly lines on music sheets! Bobby has moved his improvisational drumming techniques to the drum set and while on some songs he will carry the beat he prefers to provide color and character to the music. His maverick percussion style has been described as musical, melodic and sensitive. ST and Bobby both perform vocals.
After being in an Eric Clapton cover band and then a party band for several years Bobby and ST started writing and performing their own music.
As married best friends they work together during the day selling performance car parts, restoring sports cars and doing modifications to vehicles. They draw their music inspirations from work, travels, beliefs and love of life. The cars have a big influence in how and when they write their songs as does the local culture and the ‘Red Road’. Animals also play a big part in the duo’s life. The Rubin Dali Band is named after, Rubin and Dali, two Irish Setters that were their first fans.
