Rublood

Rublood rises from ashes of the goth band Dark Star, the drastic upheaval pushes the singer Ruben Roll to find new artists with whom he can create a style aimedtowards contemporary and hybrid lines of sound, via greater use of electronic instrumentation. 
The band finally managed to perform at the Colonia Sonora Festival in Collegno (TO) on the 28th June 2009, alongside national and international events. In 2011 they recorded their first demo, "Generation Rublood", inspired by the atmospheric sounds of bands like Rammstein, Depeche Mode and Deathstars, Rublood created their own unique mix and a new method of conceiving dark and poetic music. One of the band’s strengths, on the live scene, are the hardcore choreographies performed by their dancers, the Rubladies, who delight the audience with their magnificent gothic spectacle. 
After several live performances and changes in the line-up, Rublood found the perfect synergy and stability with the following members: Ruben Roll (vocals and keys), Jester Salander (guitars), Thorfinn (bass) and Alexi Nova (drums).
This formation recorded in February 2012 the first full-length album "Star Vampire", and shortly after they heve been contacted to take part in the production of the extravagant movie "Studio Illegale" (released in cinemas on February 2013 by Warner Bros.) in which they act in the role of special guest band playing the soundtrack “Through the Looking-Glass”. This track was also chosen for the release of the first video clip directed by Maurizio Del Piccolo and Moviedel Productions. They shot their second videoclip for the song "Electro Starfuckers" always with Moviedel Productions and always directed by Maurizio Del Piccolo.The band was selected in 2016 to perform as opening band for names like Hocico (26th March 2016) , Nachtmahr (16th April 2016); in 2015 for Hanzel und Gretyl (25th/26th October 2015), Butcher Babies (24th/25th/26th July 2015) and Sabaton in Chania Rock Fest (18th July 2015); in 2014 for Avatar (15th November 2014), Deathstars (25th October 2014) and The 69 Eyes (25 May 2014). During winter 2016 Rublood performed on a ten live tour across Romania, Bulgaria and Hungary and now they are on their way to record and release their 2nd full-lenght album.
