Bio

In a parallel universe, on a dying alien planet, the four members of the band RUBYLUX decided to escape and preserve their cultural and musical traditions by travelling to the rest of the known universe... and beyond.

Armed with only their instruments, the band were ceremoniously inserted into the launch unit and unceremoniously thrown out in Brighton, whereupon a travelling psychedelic producer, called James Sanger, offered them shelter in his wonderful studio for 6 months where they could prepare for world domination.

With a sudden burst, RUBYLUX surrendered themselves without delay to the fickle fingers of fate and prevailing winds. The music was spread worldwide on Heroes, Neighbours, Channel 5 and other adverts across the world. They now have a song in the running for a major synch with a new Movie (Chalet Girl) currently in production and starring Bill Nighy.

The album was mixed by Ash Howes and mastered by Dick Beetham at 360 Mastering... the rest, as they say, is history. Or, at least, it will be at some time in the future. Because, after several restorative pints, the RUBYLUX boys are set to be touring and street-gigging the hell out of melodious, heavily-hooked, endearing and memorable tunes – all of which deserve to find a place in our hearts.

Rubylux's influences are The Killers, The Beatles, Muse, Jeff Buckley, Radiohead and John Mayer.

Like meteorites in the desert, pearls in pigsties, or diamonds in dirt, great new British bands are things to shout about.

So prepare to be invaded. Resistance is futile.
