Ruby Rekordz is a family orientated record label that specializes in giving our youth hope and choices by pointing them in the direction of a brighter future. TV, Rap Videos, Video Games, Movies and Music of today have manipulated the minds of our young people to do drugs, join gangs, be violent and have sex at a early age. Leading that type of life leads them to self destruction. We need to more family support & more educational programs. We need to flood their minds with positive thinking and positive role model’s. We also need to try to stay positive about everything no matter. Because the children are our future and along the way I found out that words are powerful to young people’s minds. Since the youth listen to a lot of music, we have to do our part and stay positive. Over here at Ruby Rekordz and Fair Game Studio we make music about real life experiences. Our talented lyricists, songwriters, singers and producers bring something for everyone to listen to.

Ruby Rekordz is an independent record label that actually started in our kitchen about two and a half years ago. Jason “Sauce Tha Boss” Taylor had a dream of starting a record label and becoming a producer. He started out making his own beats on Fruity Loops. All he had was a computer, a small mic and the program. Believe it or not, that was the start of something bigger and better.
A lot of his neighborhoods local talent heard that he was trying to get a label started and they came running. People would come showcase their talent to him because they knew the type of man he was and they knew that once his mind was set on starting this label, it was going to happen!
After some artists came and went, a young man with the same hunger as him came through to help him make both of their dreams come true. They spent a lot of time learning about how to record music and what it would take to get a home studio started. Now came the hustling. Sauce Tha Boss finally had enough money to purchase what he needed to make his home studio. The dream was slowly becoming a reality. In May of 2006, he moved his youngest daughter out of her room and Fair Game Studio was born. He stepped back to take a look and what he saw was a real studio. Booth and all!!
They hammered out hits night after night and day after day. They were destined to be recognized. Right before the release of his first album tragedy struck. He had a house fire. Unfortunately, that put his whole project on hold. The studio was down for six months.
Now Sauce Tha Boss is back at it again. New home, same studio, same artists, same drive and a little more hunger.
