Bio

Rucca, a singing and songwriting acoustic duo from Northern KY/Cincinnati, OH, is led by two females Lauren Letsinger and Ashley Thomas. Captivating audiences of all ages with their unique vocal harmonies and memorable songs, Rucca continues to lure a growing fan base.

They originally played as Strike Me Pink when they first formed in 2002. In 2005 they gained recognition and a large following by playing local venues in the Cincinnati, tri-state area. Their first recording experience was with Random Precision Studios followed by Candyland Studios with their second project, Hearts for Heroes. Although they enjoyed their full band experience with Hearts for Heroes, their fans continued to demand more of their original style.

A positive response from Rucca's fans led to an interview with Kiss 107 and Fox 19 from Cincinnati, OH. They then were chosen to be the first artists ever to kick off the Summer Concert Series on Fountain Square in downtown Cincinnati. This opened the doors for a variety of local venues such as The Southgate House, Madison Theater, The Mad Hatter Club, and Radio Down.

Since then, Rucca has been asked to perform at the Time Warner Stage at Riverbend Music Center. Here, they became an opening act before artists such as The Jonas Brothers, Backstreet Boys and The American Idol Live Tour.

Rucca is currently unsigned but has high hopes to be acknowledged in the music industry for their originality, heartfelt lyrics, and ability to appeal to a widespread audience.
