RUDE BOY RiOT

With 3 of the original members of SUNDOWN forming this Boston based quartet, along with their rabid fan-base, RUDE BOY RiOT is taking the music scene by storm and bringing back the dignity to the genre, much like their predecessors, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones and SUBLIME did years ago.

RUDE BOY RiOT brings hard-hitting, take-no-prisoners interpretation on the ska-core/reggae-rock movement, creating a sound and intensity never heard before. The music laid down combines an infectious get up and dance atmosphere, with lyrics that avoid cliché', yet remain universally powerful. And while there is no doubt that RBR makes you groove and roar to the point of complete exhaustion, these talented musicians also slow it down, settle you into the dance floor, and stir your emotions.

The members of RBR have played at just about every venue of significance in Boston and New England, including: Avalon, The Middle East, The Paradise, Bill's Bar, Harper's Ferry, The BYC, and Copperfields. Under the name SUNDOWN they have also headlined Extravaganja and JUST-A-FEST, a 2-day music and independent artist festival held in the hills of Vermont for 2 years running. In addition to this, the guys have also been a part of an annual concert tradition called METAL HEALTH, and during this past summer of 2007 opened up for members of Fuel, Days of the New, and Alter-Bridge at the prestigious Hard Rock Cafe in FOXWOODS Resort and Casino, and advanced to the Semi-Finals of the internationaly recognized battle of the bands competition "EMERGENZA".
