After having great success in Scandinavia I left Norway in 2006 to live and work in London. I needed to see the world from a different angle. After a lot of song writing and giging I met different producers interested in recording my songs. Early in 2009 I started working on my album "Beauty in Defeat" with producer Julian Kindred. After spending months in his studio searching for haunting melodies and recording with great musicians, we finishes the album late November. Universal Norway has shown interest in the album and I am currently looking for partners in the UK.
I have always loved melodies, melodies that are still playing in your mind after you've gone to bed. I also write lyrics that may encourage and inspire based on my own life experience. My music is made to last an hopefully become the soundtrack of peoples life. I am proud to admit that I am influenced by the performance of the legendary Jeff Buckley, the soul and tenderness of Steve Wonder, the rawness of Nick Cave, the melodic extravagance of The Cure, the intelligent lyrics of Divine Comedy and the epic sound of Kate Bush.
