"Ruff Creek Meets the Mainstream"

These days in Pittsburgh, the only local bands getting respect from mainstream commercial radio are playing country. The most recent band to find itself on commercial airwaves is Ruff Creek. In 2006, the Froggy stations embraced two songs from the band's recent CD - the title cut "No Regrets" and "You Change"....the result is a cleverly written, solidly performed, professionally produced CD that launched two songs into rotation at Froggy's four simulcasting stations (98.3, 94.9, 103.5, 104.3 FM).... - The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette (January 2, 2007)

"No Regrets CD Review"

There comes a point when you're sitting in a bar listening to a band and you feel it: I think this band is gonna hit the big time someday...I got the same feeling when I first heard Ruff Creek, a group of Pittsburgh boys who have been together since 1997....Coinciding with their ever growing fan base, Ruff Creek has come out with their second CD, "No Regrets". The album deals iwth trying to make the dream real...the CD offers a mix of country and rock with a few ballads thrown in. - Racer X Magazine - February 2007

"Ruff Creek No Regrets CD Review"

Overall, Ruff Creek delivers a solid and well-crafted album with roots in the region's passions and obsessions.... - The Pittsburgh City Paper - November 8, 2006

"Ruff Creek Shoots, Scores with Crossover Appeal"

Ruff Creek's "No Regrets" CD leans towards the pop-country of Rascal Flatts. Johnson's easygoing voice tills a down-home landscape where Sunday afternoon is spelled NASCAR and a handshake is an unbreakable bond, though wanderlust can tempt a young man to leave his uninspiring job - The Beaver County Times - March 11, 2007

"Ruff Creek Wants to Become Area's Top Country Act"

The band is reaching for the brass ring on the strength of its recently released disc, "No Regrets", and a steady schedule of concerts around Pittsburgh and in Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia and Maryland...(Songwriter Dave Pahanish) believes that Ruff Creek stands out from the rest of the country pack because "they have a little bit of that rockin' vibe, like Montgomery Gentry." - The Observer-Reporter - March 16, 2007

"Life Gets a Little Easier for Evolving Ruff Creek"

Thankfully for (Devon) Johnson, the band started coming together the last couple of years with the synergy manifesting itself in the group's second full-length album, "No Regrets", which was released last October. Not only did the CD receive critical praise but record labels started sniffing around the Ruff Creek camp...With the momentum behind Ruff Creek, perhaps this opener today will be a headliner tomorrow at the Chevy Centre. - The Youngstown Vindicator - April 19, 2007
