RUFFNECKS

The Ruffnecks have been playing around Las Vegas for some time now ,in different forms . They have been playing ,once a week, at the local blues club (that lets 'em get away with rockin') for over 9 years. This run undoubtedly leads to unsurpassed musicianship that is so creative and inspiring to each other on stage. They have been decribed in many ways , and for good reason , they are versatile and interesting . On any given night you will hear them play the spectrum of Blues-Roots-Rock music. To keep busy,( and most gigs they play are 4 hours long ) they are more than happy to play great cover songs also. You may hear Stevie Ray Vaughan, or Pink Floyd, or ZZ top , or Credence , or Howlin Wolf, BB King ,Cream, etc,etc. The Ruffnecks , with their original songs , are looking to go to the next level - a recording contract. "One can hear the thousands of gigs behind their polished songs and all who see them know they are ready". The Ruffnecks songwriting continues, to this day , to be original thought in a well tapped genre . The Ruffnecks have played as far from home as Germany, Austria, Seattle, Omaha and many places in between. They have opened for Chuck Berry, Kentucky Headhunters, Pat Travers, Ted Nugent, Dr. John, Reverend Horton Heat, Paladins, Foghat, and many others , always giving the headline act a definite wake-up call.
