Born into a trailer park of failure, Brandon Williams was destined to fail from the get go. Having a father that left to proceed with a life of drug addiction he was left into a broken home filled with pain and heartache. Searching for a way to escape the pain of what life was at the time he turned to the paper and pen and began writing his cares away. From writing stories to changing the lyrics to his favorite songs, this was a way for him to cope with the way life was. The funny thing about coping mechanisms is they often turn to passions. So as time went on, he developed a passion for music. In particular, hard rock music, once he had picked up a guitar it was set from there. Helping to form many bands and projects throughout the years, these were just the things that were not meant to last and they wouldn’t as time would tell. So he joined the workforce of construction and made a success of himself, but the longing was always there to continue with his passion. After a few other attempts at making music and discovering he couldn’t keep a band together while working many miles from home he decided to take out on his own and preform as RufusScott. RufusScott has many songs from those of heartache to those of broken homes to those that will up lift you in your time of need. The music is meant to inspire you to feel it down in your heart and soul and know that whatever you may be going through in the present you can get through and move on with life.
