Brazilian singer, songwriter and instrumentalist, of Rio de Janeiro; acting in music since 08 years age, when he started his apprenticeship with brass instruments (trumpet) and percussion. With 15 years, began singing and playing in clubs, cultural centres, theatres, music festivals (and won several, as best performer and best composer).

Plays about 25 percussion instruments, guitar and cavaquinho. Acted as sideman on gigs and recordings of famous artists in Brazil.

He served as a singer and author of "jingles" in advertising campaigns for Coca-Cola, Guaraná Antarctica, Condoms and Jontex, among others, continues acting in this area.

Profound connoisseur of Carnival, is a singer and composer champion of Carnival samba schools of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. Went through some samba schools and today is part of the book "General Convocation: the revelry is on the street: the Carnival of São Paulo has history of truth", by Nelson Crecibeni, which relates the story of Carnival and its main artists.

In 2006 went to live in RIO DE JANEIRO and had the honor to be part of the ala of the composers of one of the most traditional samba schools of Brazil: the IMPÉRIO SERRANO, of Rio de Janeiro. Is also a singer and percussionist active in Carnival of street blocks in Rio de Janeiro, like the important,"Banda de Ipanema."

Already did part of musical groups, and solo, continuing the journey, with your cd (with songs written by himself and partners), "MUSIC of SAMBA". The two partnerships are: OTTO (Groups “mundo Livre S/A” and “Chico Science and Nação Zumbi”) and Márcia Cerqueira (actress and playwrighter).

The cd was released in the Playhouse "Centro Cultural Carioca" (great prestige place) and produced by himsef, in partnership with Jorge Cardoso, one of the most important music producers from Brazil, who also works with renowned artists, like: Roberto Menescal, Alcione, Emílio Santiago, Beth Carvalho, Grupo Fundo de Quintal, Zeca Pagodinho.

According to the "imprint" of the cd “Musicada de Samba", it is possible to see the large amount of instruments that the artist has performed in the recordings.

Currently prepares to recording their next cd, which already has large repertoire of songs of his own, there will be in addition to samba, pop, bossa nova, sambalanço, samba-rock and ballads, seeking a greater breadth of audience, but always with the main influence of samba.

The artist's main influences are: Brazilian Popular Music in General, the samba and Cuban music.

In December 2009, was one of the only artists of the new generation, to participate in the TRAIN of SAMBA, (Brazil's most important event, in celebration of national Samba day ).
