I guess at the end of the day this is the Rukus Crews perspective towards the music that they live and breath. From those golden days in the beginning, they were just a couple of school mates inspired by the truth and beauty of words, their effects on the listener and the freedom of speech over a dope beat. A few local shows and constant flashing of their noggin's in the local scene, the impact was natural and with a change of lifestyle also come a change of attitude. Rukus Crew slid right into the heart of the Gold Coast live music scene by playing a large number of shows alongside some of the gold coasts best bands and touring acts in Australia including Bliss 'N' Eso, Muph & Plutonic, Matty B, Drapht, Spit Sindicate, Winne Coopers, Snob Scrilla, Mantra and oz hip hop veterins Def Wish Cast. It was a perfect start to the journey that has only just begun. With the new addition of a live drummer late last year the Rukus Crew have developed a bangin’ new sound which has seen them craft and perfect there live show and increase their ever growing fan base up and down the East Coast of Australia. With the release of the DRASTIK EP (Rukus Crew MC) receiving some glowing reviews, it has only fueled the fire that continues to grow within the Rukus Crew. With their first full-length album "the final chapter" nearing completion, these boys have laid the foundations to take there sound to the next level.
