Keep Waiting

Written By: Chris Di Guardia

(In tribute to they that go down to sea in ships.)

Hold on, cause we've got to keep waiting,
we'll turn around when the trip is done
it's been a while you know we go by the moon now
which matters much more than the cycles of the sun.

But I've got to keep waiting til this trip is all over
And I've got to keep waiting til we turn it around
And I've got to keep waiting til the stars are on the west side
And I'll have to keep waiting til she comes about

They say "Green water means you're in trouble."
"Black water means you're a submarine."
I'll go below now, while we pass by old Sable
and I hope I'll never know just what they mean...

But I've got to keep waiting til this trip is all over
And I've got to keep waiting til we turn it around
And I've got to keep waiting til the stars are on the west side
And I'll have to keep waiting til she comes about
But I've got to keep waiting til this hold is all full now
And I've got to keep waiting til the owner calls us in
And I've got to keep waiting til the stars are on the west side
And I'll have to keep waiting, hope she rights 'erself again

Sly Moore

Written By: Chris Di Guardia

We want to extend our deepest thanks
we're sure that you'll climb up through the ranks
though some find your presence
quite unnerving
We want to extend our deepest thanks,
we're sure that you'll climb up through the ranks, ye'll take the civil servant, take out the serving

What's that
you said?
you want to make
something out of it?
Sly Moore...

The future Emperor's hand
sits at his right hand
she can change your mind,
and you'll think it's fine
The future Emperor's hand
sits right at his right hand
she can change your mind, and you'll think it's just fine.
Alright

What's that
you said?
you want to make
something out of it?
Sly Moore

She wears a cloak,
it looks like white
at least to you,
with the primitive sight
she sees so many colors
so very many colors
with her advanced,
her advanced alien sight.
alright

Drive You

Written By: Chris Di Guardia

Get back
turn around
listen up to the sound
and hear the news.

I heard the news today
Oh boy, I heard them say
that you hadn't heard
enough of my words
and you were thinking of going away

But with you by my side
I've got nothing to hide
so let's go for a ride
now that I can drive you home

What's this I see
you're in the major leagues
the A-List welcomed you up, all the way
but the other ones they miss you here
can't you come down? We'll buy you a beer
can't you come up?
why don't you come down?
a night on the town

But with you by my side
I've got nothing to hide
so let's go for a ride
now that I can drive you
You look so fine
and I've got nothing but time
so let's go for a ride
now that I can drive you home

"Meet me by the sculpture",
she'd say,
"Meet me by the thing, that makes the noise.
I meant the bars, and not the wheel, and I will tell you how I feel."
Let's go shopping at the mall
let's go see Niagra Falls
let's go out and do it all
anything you said you wanted
anything you said you wanted to...
come on and drive you...
