BandRock

Rule of 13 blends rock, funk, blues, and more to cultivate a unique and hard-hitting sound that keeps the audience happy. Our style incorporates originals and covers to enhance the show.

Biography

Stevie K. hails from Monterey, California, and has played for many years with the band Freeway. Some of their songs are online at www.myspace.com/thesteviekband. Freeway's most recent release, entitled LONG WAY HOME, has sold over 100,000 copies to date. Last summer they performed in 20 cities, ending the tour in Monterey, CA on labor day weekend.

Lee Goldenberg is a chiropractor, originally from New Jersey. He has lived in the south for much of the past ten years. He began playing guitar, and then transitioned to bass and has been loving it ever since. His influences are the Grateful Dead, Phish, Allman Brothers, Shockra, classic rock, blues, funk, jazz and more.

Seth Hanna, a student at University of Alabama, comes from Virginia, and now lives in Birmingham, AL. He has played the drums in several bands and with different musicians in Alabama, and brings his unique style of dropping the thunder with Rule of 13.

We have dozens of originals, and many covers to pick from. Our sets are usually around an hour, but can be flexible. We have enough material for at least 3 hours.
