Bio

rumHoney have performed over 800 gigs together in the UK and
across Europe, all of which helped fund the recording of both their 2003 debut album “Brace Yourself…” and their imminent 2nd offering “East to West”. rumHoney recently returned from their second
3-month residency in Northern Italy – over a hundred gigs in the
bars and clubs of Turin, and in the Alps. Having also served a long apprenticeship on the UK covers circuit, together with presenting their own material whenever possible, they are a tight and formidable unit with a firm grasp of musical drama and all theatrical aspects that go with putting on a show. However rumHoney are also firm friends, and enjoy all time together.

Sky Wood 31, Vocals and Guitar

Classically trained from the age of ten, Sky has performed as a choral singer at the Royal Opera House, the Royal festival Hall and the National Theatre - and has sung alongside an array of musical talent that includes Cliff Richard, Tina Turner, and Mike and The Mechanics. Upon completing his fine art degree at Brighton Art School in the summer of 1998, Sky hooked up with Jaime Blake in London to begin the recording of what would become the rumHoney debut “Brace Yourself…”

Jaime Blake 33,Guitar and Vocals

After he left school aged 17, Jaime found his way as a guitarist, bass player, and singer into several bands, and became a regular fixture on the London music scene, most notably with his own “Jaime Blake” band, which appeared on the UK television ITV network’s “Funky Bunker” in 1997; as well as radio performances on London’s Talk 100fm, and Capital 95.8. A spell in New York with American rockers “Yowser” soon followed, before returning to London to form rumHoney with Sky Wood.

Rami Siam 30, Drums

Rami began with classical Arabic percussion at the age of 12 at a music conservatoire in Alexandria. He moved to London, where he studied Popular Music at the London College of Music. Rami has appeared on ITV’s “X-Factor” alongside finalist Ben Mills, and performed on BBC1’s Music Live, Night Fever, and Party In The Park. He has occupied the drum seat in rumHoney for the last two years ever since stepping in one night as a deputy just 2 hours before
show-time…

Dominic Giannetta 30, Bass

Dominic has years of experience playing electric bass, both onstage and in the recording studio. Born in Puglia Italy, he spent many years learning his trade in the bars and clubs of Europe with countless bands in many different musical forms. He has now, however found his spiritual home within the ranks of rumHoney. He provides some serious, vintage bottom-end, with the agility and passion of many of his heroes.
