The band was formed 4 years ago and since then has evolved into a 5 piece new-grass group. Driving on the influences of such sounds as Bob Dylan, Yonder Mountain String Band, and Flatt and Scruggs the Rumpke Mountain Boys have begun to dig a nitch into the local Cincinnati music scene. With studio time around the corner, a debut ablum is expected for release early fall and their sights are now turning to take the show on the road. This summer hopes to be the foundation of many years of music to come and a parting from the open mic band they have grown from.
